Job summary

Westone Housing Ltd, based in Peterborough, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead social housing adaptations and planned works across local authority and housing association contracts. Based from our Peterborough head office, you will manage multiple projects to time, budget and quality while ensuring resident satisfaction and compliance with CDM and health & safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing housing refurbishment, maintenance or adaptation projects.
• Experience working with Local Authorities, Housing Associations or Social Housing providers.
• Strong knowledge of domestic refurbishment and maintenance works.
• Understanding of housing adaptations and accessibility improvements.
• Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour.
• Strong organisational and project planning skills.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office and digital project management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from instruction through to practical completion.
• Deliver projects safely, on programme, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
• Plan and coordinate labour, materials, subcontractors and specialist trades.
• Liaise with Local Authority and Housing Association clients on a regular basis.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents and stakeholders.
• Ensure all works comply with contractual obligations, specifications and building regulations.
• Undertake site inspections, progress meetings and quality audits.
• Manage project costs, variations and financial performance.
• Monitor and report on contract KPI performance.
• Identify and resolve operational and delivery challenges.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations, Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
• Support the pricing and scoping of additional works where required.
