Job summary

CR Smith is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver social housing contracts across the east coast of Scotland. You will lead planning, coordination and on-site delivery, ensuring safety, schedule and budget compliance while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires proven project management experience in housing or construction, with excellent planning, communication and leadership skills. A full UK driving licence and ability to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in social housing, construction, refurbishment, maintenance or building services.
• Experience managing multiple projects/contracts simultaneously.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness.
• Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
• Experience managing subcontractors and operational teams.
• Solid health & safety and quality understanding.
• Able to travel across the east coast of Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of social housing contracts across the east coast of Scotland.
• Plan and programme works to meet timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate internal teams, site operatives and subcontractors.
• Be main point of contact for clients, housing associations and stakeholders.
• Monitor project costs, variations and commercial performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and contractual requirements.
• Manage risks and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Provide regular project reporting and maintain records.
