Building Careers UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Groundworker to join our team, focusing on the Social Housing sector across Warrington, Northwich, Knutsford, Nantwich, and Crewe. This role offers a temp to perm opportunity with long-term work.

The successful candidate will perform various groundwork tasks and will be provided with a company van and fuel card for business purposes. Candidates must have extensive experience and NVQ Level 2 qualifications.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within the Social Housing sector.
• Proven experience as a Groundworker.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out flagging and paving works.
• Install and repair fencing.
• Install gates.
• Perform small drainage works.
• Execute general domestic groundworks.

About the Role

We are looking to recruit an experienced Groundworker to join our team delivering works within the Social Housing sector as part of a planned works programme. The role will involve working on residential properties across Warrington, Northwich, Knutsford, Nantwich and Crewe, carrying out a variety of external groundwork improvements.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Groundworker looking for long-term work with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period. A company van and fuel card will be provided for business use.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will carry out a range of domestic groundwork tasks including:

• Flagging and paving works
• Installation and repair of fencing
• Gate installations
• Small drainage works
• General domestic groundworks on social housing properties

Work will be carried out across multiple sites, maintaining high standards of workmanship, customer service, and health & safety.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• Previous experience working within the Social Housing sector
• Proven experience as a Groundworker
• NVQ Level 2 in Groundworks (or equivalent)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Own tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
