Job Description
SEMH Teaching Assistant
Fantastic pay rates between £400.00- £500.00 per week.
Monarch Education are actively recruiting a Social, Emotional and Mental Health Trained Teaching Assistant to support a Specialist School in Wellingborough. This exciting opportunity is full-time with the view of becoming a permanent position. The school settings are friendly and culturally have a family-oriented environment, offering support and guidance. The hours vary from 8.00-16.00 (Depending on the school), Monday to Friday and term time only.
The school is ideally looking for a skilled Teaching Assistant who understands and has experience working with special educational needs, with either children or adults. For the right candidate, this position will go permanent, with the position starting ASAP April 2025.
In these environments, you will be supporting varying students within a Primary School Setting with various SEND needs, particularly Social Emotional Mental Health Needs. You'll be supporting students alongside the classroom teacher to boost attainment and aid their development, both socially and in their education. You will help maintain discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and encourage good practice with your pupils.
