Job summary

Shropshire Council in Shrewsbury is seeking staff to join the Preparing for Adulthood Team. You will work alongside Social Workers, Social Care Practitioners, Occupational Therapists and Health Colleagues to support young adults in transition and their parent carers.

You will undertake assessments and Care Act responsibilities within a county-wide team. An induction and ongoing in-house training will be provided. The post is permanent, 29.6 hours per week.

This is an opportunity to join the Preparing for Adulthood Team. You will be working alongside colleagues including Social Workers, Social Care Practitioners, Occupational Therapists and Health Colleagues.

You will be undertaking assessments and Care Act responsibilities within a county wide team, working with young adults in transition and their parent carers.

Each member of staff will receive an induction to provide basic knowledge of the job. Ongoing training will be offered through in house training pathways or attendance at external courses as individual needs are identified.

The post isPermanent, for 29.6 hours per week.
