Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates Ltd is seeking an adult's Social Worker to join an Early Adulthood Team in Manchester, working with 14-25 year olds with learning disabilities to transition to adulthood.

The role requires a Social Work degree and at least 2 years' permanent experience, plus a valid UK driving licence; you will undertake strength-based, legally compliant Care Act 2014 assessments and mental capacity evaluations with a focus on community inclusion and reducing isolation.

Qualifications

• A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 2 years' experience essential.
• Experience with Care Act 2014 and work with adolescent/young people is advantageous.
• A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Experience working with Care act 2014 and work with adolescent/ young people lends well to the success of this position. A valid UK driving licence and vehicle are essential for this role.
