Herefordshire Council is seeking a Customer Service Officer to be a first point of access for the public and professionals contacting Herefordshire Adult Social Care. You will join the Advice and Referral Team to work alongside Social Workers and Occupational Therapists, helping to deliver effective services for customers.

Qualifications

• GCSE English grade A-C or equivalent.
• Experience in an office/administrative/secretarial role.
• Positive approach when working with the public and team members.
• Ability to follow processes and search for information whilst taking a call.
• Self-motivation, approachable and helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide first point of access for members of the public and professionals contacting Herefordshire Adult Social Care.
• Work with Social Workers and Occupational Therapists to connect customers with the right response.
• Support a diverse population and link customers to appropriate community, voluntary, health, or statutory services.
