Job summary

Hoople Ltd in Hereford is recruiting a Customer Services Officer to provide a first point of access for the public and professionals contacting Herefordshire Adult Social Care. Working in the Advice and Referral Team, you will support a diverse population and help connect customers to the right services, whether in the community, health services, or through the Adult Social Care Pathway.

The role requires GCSE English, office experience, strong customer service skills, and a positive, proactive

Qualifications

• GCSE English grade A-C or equivalent.
• Experience in an office, administrative or secretarial role.
• Customer service skills.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Positive approach when dealing with the public and team members.
• Ability to follow processes and search for information while taking a call.
• Demonstrates self-motivation and is approachable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a first point of access for members of the public and professionals contacting Herefordshire Adult Social Care.
• Work within the Advice and Referral Team alongside Social Workers and Occupational Therapists to ensure effective services for customers.
• Support a diverse population and connect customers with the right response to meet their needs (community/voluntary sector/health services/charitable services or entry into the Adult Social Care Pathway).
