Job summary

Google is seeking a seasoned GSOC security professional to lead incident response and drive security operations within our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). You will collaborate with Facilities Management to craft risk-based security strategies, investigate breaches, and develop future-ready plans for Google offices globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in law enforcement, intelligence or a military role or equivalent private sector experience.
• Experience in a security operations centre environment.
• Experience leading security operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift-level incident response and crisis management, triaging threats against the escalation and impact matrix.
• Direct live quality control for all shift deliverables, including report writing, verbal briefings, and incident standardization.
• Manage shift scheduling, ensure operational coverage, and deputize for GSOC Operations Managers.
• Identify training gaps, lead regional training initiatives, and advocate AI innovation to advance GSOC capabilities.
• Analyze, develop, and strengthen GSOC processes to support integration across the ecosystem.
