Job Description:

My client is a global leader within Enterprise Software, suitable for those who have sold into Central Government, Logistics, Transport, Defence, Financial Services, and NHS sectors.

The Business Development Managers strategically acquire new clients by cultivating trust-based relationships with C-level executives to understand their mission-critical priorities and uncover opportunities to deliver client value.

They drive the full sales cycle, from identifying prospects to closure and transitioning new accounts to the account management team.

This role requires strategic thinking combined with tactical execution, utilizing the latest tech stack to amplify efforts.

Business Development teams focus on building trust-based, value-added relationships with clients, delivering long-term value, and growing their book of business. While results-driven, they are highly collaborative with account management teams to ensure an exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities
  • Seek out and drive new business opportunities with Enterprise C-Level stakeholders.
  • Convert prospects into active clients, owning the full sales process and negotiation, and transitioning new clients to the account management team.
  • Conduct strategic prospecting: research and qualify potential leads within the target market, maintaining a contact list using modern sales intelligence tools.
  • Execute sales: manage the full sales cycle from qualification to close, assisting customers in finding suitable pricing and negotiating enterprise contracts with the CEO.
  • Leverage and optimize modern sales tools to create scalable customer acquisition processes, including automation where appropriate.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in complex, intangible sales environments.
  • Experience selling to and influencing C-level executives.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to manage and forecast complex sales processes accurately.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
