SAFETEST LTD is seeking an SMT Machine Operator to join our production team in Bournemouth. You’ll set up, operate, and monitor SMT equipment to deliver high-quality PCB assemblies, with a preference for experience on Europlacer machines.

Key duties include loading components, supporting changeovers, inspecting placements, following work instructions, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace while meeting production targets.

Formación

• Experience operating SMT equipment, preferably Europlacer machines.
• Experience in PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and practical problem solving.
• Ability to follow technical drawings and work instructions.
• Confidence using hand tools and handling electronic components.
• Reliable with good communication and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Setting up and operating SMT pick-and-place equipment.
• Loading components and feeders and supporting production changeovers.
• Monitoring placement accuracy, carrying out visual inspections and routine quality checks.
• Identifying production issues and making adjustments within your training, escalating when needed.
• Following work instructions, production schedules and ESD procedures.
• Carrying out basic equipment maintenance and keeping your work area clean and organised.
• Working with colleagues to meet safety, quality and production targets.
