Job summary

Clark James Insurance Recruitment is partnering with a Croydon-based insurance broker to recruit experienced Commercial account handlers and sales advisors. Hybrid working, modern office, strong training and clear career prospects with a friendly team.

You will manage existing and new business client relationships across SME accounts, handle quotations, and support sales targets. FCA compliance knowledge and Acturis experience are valued; a year in general insurance is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of general insurance experience.
• Ideally some experience using Acturis, but not essential.
• Knowledge of FCA requirements including Treating Customers Fairly and the UK insurance market.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming sales and customer enquiry calls.
• Produce and issue quotation & new business documentation.
• Assist customers to protect their material assets and liabilities.
• Follow up and convert leads, including outbound calls.
• Achieve sales targets individually and with the team.
• Grow income from existing customers.
