Barker Munro Recruitment is assisting a respected, family-owned, small insurance broker to recruit a SME Account handler to join the team.

You’ll handle a range of Commercial Lines policies (SMEs, property owners, shops, restaurants, fleets, liabilities), with a strong focus on new business.

Key tasks include:

• Processing MTAs, renewals and new business quotes
• Providing excellent client service via phone, email and face‑to‑face
• Understanding client needs and offering effective insurance solutions
• Spotting cross‑sell opportunities and gaps in cover

We are seeking applicants with a good knowledge of Personal and Commercial Lines insurance who are organised and confident. You will be a clear communicator, written and verbal and a team player who builds positive relationships.
