Job summary

iSmash is seeking a Mobile Phone Repair Technician for Lakeside. You will repair smartphones, tablets, and laptops, delivering fast, reliable repairs and outstanding customer service.

The role requires hands-on skills in a lively retail setting, with attention to detail and a passion for mobile technology. Reporting to the In-Store Manager, you’ll contribute to a customer-focused repair experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience repairing smartphones and tablets (brands such as Apple, Samsung, Google).
• Strong customer service skills with confidence speaking to customers.
• High attention to detail when handling devices, tools and small components.
• Genuine interest in mobile technology and repairs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair smartphones and tablets, including screen replacements, battery replacements, camera repairs, charging issues and other common faults
• Diagnose and troubleshoot device issues using your technical judgement
• Provide clear advice and guidance to customers on repair options and solutions
• Recommend suitable accessories and protection products
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workspace
• Follow repair standards and safety guidelines at all times
