Job summary

Hydrosave UK Limited is seeking a Smart Water Services Field Technician (FTC) in the West Midlands. The role is field-based, involving outdoor work installing water sensors to monitor acoustics, pressure and flow, with full training provided.

You will carry out timesheets, safety checks, and liaise with team leaders to maintain service reliability. This fixed-term contract offers a pathway to permanency for the right candidate, with company vehicle, PPE and tools provided and emphasis on safety

Qualifications

• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• Consent to and pass a CRB check.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.
• Good planning and organisational ability.
• Decisive and confident decision making skills.
• Strong awareness of Health, Safety & Wellbeing.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to contribute to the team.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office for data recording.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of water sensors used to record acoustics, pressure and flow.
• Use of specialist equipment.
• Accurately complete timesheets, survey forms, and leakage reports.
• Take full responsibility for Health & Safety compliance.
• Work closely with Team Leaders and fellow technicians.
• Report accidents, incidents, and near misses within required timeframes.
• Adhere to company vehicle safety processes and complete daily vehicle checks.
• Demonstrate company values and professional behaviours at all times.
