Job summary

Evans Halshaw is seeking a SMART Repair Technician to join our busy, growing SMART teams across the UK. You will perform SMART repairs, cosmetic paint work and wheel refinishing to a high standard, while learning industry techniques and ensuring quality finishes.

We welcome applicants from related fields and you must have a full UK driving licence. The role offers uncapped earning potential and a joining bonus as part of our benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a SMART or Wheel Technician in automotive.
• We welcome new to industry applicants with transferrable skills such as Valeting, detailing or painting.
• A full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out all aspects of SMART repair to a wide range of vehicles in our workshop.
• Cosmetic paint repairs to the internal used car preparation standard.
• Mixing and colour matching, painting all repaired areas to a high standard with a polished finish.
• Keeping up to date with industry standards of SMART repair techniques.
• Repairing painted or diamond cut wheels to a high standard of re-finish.

As our SMART Technician you’ll be tasked with the following:

• Carrying out all aspects of SMART repair to a wide range of vehicles in our workshop
• Cosmetic paint repairs working to our internal used car preparation standard
• Mixing and colour matching, painting all repaired areas to a high standard, with a polished finish
• Keeping up to date and learning the industry standards of SMART repair techniques
• Repairing painted or diamond cut wheels that have scrapes and scuffs back to a high standard of re-finish
