Job summary

Perrys Motor Sales Ltd in Dover is recruiting a SMART Repair Technician to carry out high-standard paint repairs on internal and retail vehicles within a purpose-built indoor pod. You will work under the Regional Director and contribute to the team through skilled repairs and adherence to company standards.

The ideal candidate has SMART Repair experience, holds a full UK driving licence, and is well-organised with a proactive work ethic.

Qualifications

• SMART Repair experience is required.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Well-organised and self-motivated with the ability to manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Carry out paintwork SMART repairs on internal and retail vehicles.
• Prepare and paint vehicles to a high standard in a dealership environment.

We can be flexible with the hours offered. The role offered will be a one-week pattern, working Monday – Fridays which will give you quality time to spend with your family and friends.

About the role:

Reporting into the Regional Director, the successful SMART Repair Technician will be responsible for carrying out paintwork SMART repairs on internal and retail vehicles in line with deadlines and targets.

The role is dealership based initially in Dover however, as part of our busy region in Kent you could be covering other sites. Working in a purpose built SMART repair pod in order to work comfortably all year round in an indoor working environment.

As a Perrys SMART Repair Technician, you will prepare and paint vehicles to a high standard without direct supervision, to include alloy wheel refurbishment, paintwork and bumper repairs, scratch and scuff removal and minor cosmetic repairs.

Using all products economically to minimise waste and costs, completing all work within agreed time scales and explaining work and charges.

About you:

You will be well-organised and self-motivated and able to manage the workload independently.

Demonstrate capability and confidence in working with equipment and systems within the dealership.

Care passionately and commit to doing the right thing for our customers, treating them fairly.

The ideal candidate must have SMART Repair Technician experience.

You will have a full UK Driving licence.

Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
