Sureserve Energy Services Meters, a subsidiary of Sureserve Group Limited, is seeking an experienced trainer to develop and deliver training material for Smart Metering services across the UK.

The role ensures engineers and Install Partners are technically competent, gas safe compliant, and aligned to Sureserve SOPs and TOPS documentation, with continuous improvement through incident-led learning and hands-on delivery across operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years operational experience in smart metering.
• Experience mentoring or supervising engineers.
• Strong understanding of incident investigation processes.
• Experience supporting compliance audits.
• CCN1/CMA1/CMA3 and MET1.
• Full UK Driving licence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, web-based systems, and training presentation tools.
• Strong organisational, planning, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate others.

Responsabilités

• Technical Training Delivery across classroom and field settings.
• Deliver inductions for new engineers and Install Partners.
• Conduct competence assessments and post-incident retraining.
• Return-to-work validations, mentoring, and toolbox talks.
• Maintain and govern the competence matrix (Gas Safe, Smart qualifications, contracts).
• Ensure engineers remain compliant and in-date.
• Manage progression pathways and act as technical authority for sign-off.
