Job summary

SSE plc is seeking a Smart Buildings Project Engineer to join the BMS projects team in the North West. You will deliver small to medium BMS projects from planning through handover, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and running commissioning to ensure systems meet specifications.

You should have strong experience in Siemens/Trend/Distech/Tridium BEMS/HVAC controls, excellent communication skills, and a flexible on-call approach.

Qualifications

• Experience with Siemens, Trend, Distech or Tridium BEMS/HVAC Building Controls is essential.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with clients and partners is required.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to coach or direct others.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of small to medium BMS projects from planning to handover, on time and within budget.
• Coordinate activities with clients, subcontractors and internal teams across programme and resources.
• Carry out commissioning of BMS hardware/software, testing and optimization to meet specifications.
• Identify and resolve technical and project issues while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.
• Produce and maintain project documentation including progress reports and handover material.
