Job summary

Clevedale Veterinary Practice is a friendly, well-established mixed practice with 24 vets and 20 RVNs across four sites in Whitby, Guisborough, Stokesley and Redcar (Upleatham). We’re seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon who is comfortable handling sole charge and skilled in medical and surgical cases.

The role offers full time hours, with no out-of-hours and a 1 in 4 Saturday morning rota. Salary up to £65,000 DOE, with potential higher pay for exceptional experience or specialist skills.

Qualifications

• Confident Veterinary Surgeon able to work with sole charge.
• Skilled in medical and surgical case management.
• Flexible approach to working across branches.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical and surgical care across branches.
• Operate with sole charge as required.
• Participate in 1 in 4 Saturday mornings rota (8:30–14:00).
• Support team and contribute to CPD and training.

The Role:

• Full-time, 39hours per week over4days (part-time and flexible working considered)
• Enjoy flexibility in your working location – this role may be based across any of our branches with a base branch tailored to both your circumstances and the needs of the team
• No out-of-hours
• 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (8.30am-2pm)
