We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced vet to join our team on a part-time basis here at Park Veterinary Hospital. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for patient care and enjoys the benefits of providing all of this under one roof in our 24-hour hospital in the “outdoor city” of Sheffield, close to the Peak District.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our close knit, dedicated team with a passion for 24 hour care. We are a forward thinking first opinion, fully equipped small animal veterinary hospital that provides its own 24hr emergency care, giving you the opportunity to see your cases progress within one setting. We have an experienced team with peripatetic orthopaedic surgeons and a cardiologist, along with an experienced team of 7 Veterinary Surgeons, 9 Nurses, 4 Receptionists, placement nurses and office team.
We know how important it is to be flexible and work with our colleagues to provide this much appreciated level of care for our patients. We are looking for someone who is also able to do sole care (at our branch practice in beautiful Hathersage, and when partaking in our on-site 24-hour rota).
Outside of opening hours, our vets share the role of triage emergency calls and come in as needed for emergency or inpatient care alongside our dedicated nursing team.
We can tailor our 8-10 hour day shifts to be flexible with our new team member’s needs and provide up to a total of 20 hours per week, including participation in our OOH rota.
We pride ourselves on providing our own inpatient and emergency care 24/7 and are a super friendly and dedicated team.
As an employer, we are committed to promoting and protecting the physical and mental health of all our staff.
Join an Employer of the Year! VetPartners has been recognised for outstanding team culture and support.
We look forward to hearing from you!
