Job summary

Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time SLT Assistant to join our existing team of 16 SLT assistants. The role involves working in local schools and/or nurseries to screen children's communication skills, deliver language groups and train staff in the settings.

The post will also involve jointly running groups in clinics and supporting clinical and administration tasks for the wider SLT team, with an opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding of communication

Job description

We have a full time vacancy in our SLT Assistant team. The post holder will join our existing team of 16 SLT assistants to support the work of the SLT department. The role will involve working in local schools and/or nurseries to screen children's communication skills, deliver language groups and train staff in the settings. It will also involve jointly running groups in clinics and supporting clinical and administration tasks for the wider SLT team. There will be an opportunity to develop your knowledge and understanding of communication development in children.
