South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture is seeking a Catering Assistant at Chatelherault Country Park in Hamilton. The role involves food preparation and service, as well as maintaining a clean, safe kitchen and event support.

Location: Chatelherault Country Park, Carlisle Road, Ferniegair, Hamilton

Hours: 17 per week (2 week rota)

Work Pattern: Week 1 - Monday 10am-3pm, Friday/Saturday 9am-5pm

Week 2 - Monday 10am-3pm, Saturday 9am-5pm

Salary/Hourly Rate: £13.80 per hour

Duration: Fixed Term until 31st March 2027

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for a Catering Assistant to join their team at Chatelherault Country Park.

Your duties will include food preparation and service, function work, cleaning whilst maintaining a healthy and safe working environment.

Previous catering experience is desirable but no essential as full training will be given. A REHIS qualification is also desirable.

Preferred candidates identified after the selection event process will be required to assist the recruitment team, if need be, to ensure timely completion of recruitment checks. If recruitment checks are not completed within a reasonable timescale, you may automatically be withdrawn from this position.

Overseas Criminal Records Check
