South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture is seeking a friendly Recreation Assistant (Ice) to join the East Kilbride Ice Rink team. You will help provide a safe, enjoyable experience for customers of all ages by assisting on and off the ice, carrying out basic skate maintenance, and helping prepare the venue for arrivals.
The role is part-time (10 hours/week) with a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027, based at East Kilbride Ice Rink.

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Recreation Assistant (Ice) to work at East Kilbride Ice Rink to help provide a safe and enjoyable experience for customers of all ages and abilities.
You’ll support ice rink operations, assist customers on and off the ice, maintain equipment and facilities, and play an important role in ensuring a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for everyone.
