Job summary

Dunbia Sawley is seeking reliable, hands-on individuals to join the Slaughter Hall Team. This full-time, permanent role operates 6am–3pm, Monday to Friday near Gisburn, with training provided in a regulated meat production environment.

You will support the safe, efficient processing of cattle while upholding animal welfare and food safety standards. An immediate start is available with weekly pay and comprehensive PPE; opportunities exist for progression and personal development.

Qualifications

• Hands-on role in a regulated meat processing environment.
• Training provided; prior slaughter experience not essential.
• Commitment to animal welfare and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties in the slaughter hall, including slaughter, dressing and evisceration of cattle.
• Work safely and effectively as part of the team to support production.
• Maintain hygiene, quality and safety standards at all times.
• Follow Manager/Supervisor instructions and contribute to targets.
• Use equipment and PPE correctly per site procedures.
