Job summary

Lord Search & Selection is hiring a Purchasing Administrator in Leeds to support the purchasing function by ensuring accurate product and order data. You will create, check and maintain SKU information, establish correct numbers across a wide range of mechanical and electrical products, and cleanse purchasing data.

The role requires methodical, analytical, and highly organised individuals who can work with large volumes of data, check for discrepancies, and update systems to improve data

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, stock or data administration.
• Must be methodical, analytical and highly organised with attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with large volumes of data and product information.

Responsibilities

• Create, check and maintain SKU and product information.
• Establish correct product and order numbers across a wide range of mechanical and electrical products.
• Sort, organise and cleanse purchasing data.
• Maintain accurate product and supplier records.
• Check information for discrepancies, duplication and errors.
• Support purchase order administration and processing.
• Update internal systems and spreadsheets with accurate information.
• Help improve structure and consistency of purchasing data.
