Job summary

TEES VALLEY COMBINED AUTHORITY is seeking a proactive Workforce Delivery Officer to support skills and workforce development across Tees Valley. You will work with training providers, employers and stakeholders to manage a portfolio of devolved Adult Skills Fund programmes and ensure outcomes for residents and employers.

You will monitor performance, support programme delivery, maintain stakeholder relationships and ensure public funding delivers meaningful benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering programmes, projects or contracts in skills, education, employment or public sector.
• Strong relationship-building with providers, employers, stakeholders and internal teams.
• Experience in performance monitoring and reporting with data analysis to drive improvement.
• Understanding of programme governance, funding requirements and performance management.
• Experience handling information and data with clear record-keeping and reporting.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to identify and escalate risks, issues and delivery challenges.
• Good financial awareness with budget monitoring or value-for-money delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to influence outcomes.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
