Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd is seeking an experienced Welder for its Glasgow team. The role involves welding carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium using MIG, MAG, MMA, FCAW and automated processes to produce high-quality butt and fillet welds.

Candidates must be able to inspect their own work, follow health and safety procedures and be eligible to obtain a high level of security clearance due to the nature of the projects in Glasgow.

Qualifications

• Trade papers and welding qualifications as required.
• Experience in ceramic-tile, flux-cored and metal-cored welding.
• Ability to meet visual and NDE inspection standards.
• Experience welding carbon steel (4-15mm thickness).
• MIG aluminium and automated welding experience.
• Background in maritime, construction, manufacturing or similar industry.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Weld carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium using a range of welding processes.
• Carry out MIG, MAG, MMA, FCAW and automated welding.
• Produce high-quality butt and fillet welds.
• Inspect and verify your own work to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures.
