Job summary

AC Corporation in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Welder to join our Fabrication team. This hands-on role focuses on MIG, TIG and Stick welding with varying metals to fabricate custom equipment from drawings.

You will read and interpret fabrication drawings, measure and cut to spec, and work to ensure quality workmanship. Training can be provided for forklift operation; safety PPE is required.

Qualifications

• Welding experience required and able to perform MIG, TIG and/or Stick welding.
• Able to read fabrication drawings and measurements accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in metal fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Fabricate metal components and assemblies from drawings and measurements.
• Measure, cut, fit, and weld material to required specifications.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and dimensions.
• Operate grinders, plasma cutters, bandsaws, shears, rollers and press brakes.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
