Job summary

AAF International - Power & Industrial Group in Cramlington, Northumberland, is seeking a Fabricator to strengthen our production team. You will follow safety and quality procedures, manufacture assemblies to exact specifications, and participate in continuous improvement to meet quotas with strict quality.

The role requires TIG welding experience, reading drawings, and an apprenticeship in fabrication or related engineering.

Qualifications

Apprenticeship in Fabrication, Welding or related engineering discipline.
BTEC National Certificate (Desirable).
Qualifications may be substituted for experience.

Responsibilities

Follow all company health, safety, environmental and quality procedures.
Manufacture assemblies to technical specifications in line with AAF standards.
Weld passivation in accordance with AAF standards.
Packing of N-hance projects in accordance with AAF standards.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and specifications.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Ensure work areas are clean, organised and compliant with 5S housekeeping standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.
Assist with loading, unloading and movement of materials and finished products when required.
