Job summary

The Role

We have an excellent opportunity for a Skilled Utility Operative. You must hold a valid HGV Class 2 driving licence. The post is a full term contract where your primary focus will be the maintenance of Highway Drainage including operating gully cleansing plant, high pressure jetting and driving. The duties may vary from time to time without changing the nature of the post or the level of responsibility, and the post holder may also be required to carry out any other duties appropriate to the grading of the post, such as assisting with Street Lighting repairs and maintenance on Street Lighting apparatus.

About You

You must be physically fit and have experience in working on the highway together with operating highway plant and machines. Full understanding of relevant health and safety requirements is essential.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and well organized person to join our hard working and committed team.

You should possess a valid HGV Class 2 driving licence along with good communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work within a team environment.

This post requires the use of hand held data capture devices and computer systems where required.
