Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production, fabrication, joinery, timber or assembly environment.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and detailed work instructions.
• Confidence using hand and power tools.
• Strong focus on quality, safety and achieving production targets.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and repetitive tasks.
• Good attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Build timber and panel systems according to process guides to support projects across Scotland.
• Interpret technical drawings to ensure builds are completed accurately and to the required quality standards.
• Use a range of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Carry out manual handling of timber and other materials.
• Work to daily quality and production targets.
• Keep your work area clean, tidy and organised.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
• Work closely with your team and line leader to maintain efficient workflows.
• Support continuous improvement across the production process.

Timber Assembly Operatives to join a busy and dynamic manufacturing team in Glasgow.

This is a hands‑on role suited to individuals with strong practical ability, good attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions and technical drawings, and a drive to achieve high standards of quality and output.

What you'll be doing:

As a Skilled Production Operative, you'll be responsible for building and assembling timber and panel systems to support projects across Scotland. Your daily duties will include:

• Following step‑by‑step process guides to build wall panels and install windows and doors within a fast‑moving manufacturing environment
• Interpreting technical drawings to ensure builds are completed accurately and to the required quality standards
• Using a range of hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Carrying out manual handling of timber and other materials
• Working to daily quality and production targets
• Keeping your work area clean, tidy and organised
• Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies
• Working closely with your team and line leader to maintain efficient workflows
• Supporting continuous improvement across the production process

Early Shift

Monday to Friday |

6:00am - 2:00pm

£13.65 per hour, increasing to

£15.05 per hour

following successful completion of training.

Back Shift

Monday to Thursday |

2:00pm - 10:00pm

Friday |

2:00pm - 6:00pm

£15.08 per hour, increasing to

£16.63 per hour

following successful completion of training.
