Job summary

A leading engineering firm in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join their team in Aberdeen City. The role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of stainless and carbon steel pipework. Applicants must have a proven background in pipefitting, be able to work from detailed technical drawings, and possess a CSCS card. On offer is a competitive PAYE rate of £22.00 per hour plus lodge allowances, with a duration of 3-6 months.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a pipefitter in an industrial or construction environment.
• Ability to work from detailed technical drawings.
• Understanding of pressure testing and pipe system integrity checks.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and fabrication sketches.
• Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipe using hand and power tools.
• Install and secure pipe systems, supports, valves, and fittings.
