Job summary

A leading engineering resources provider is seeking an experienced Pipefitter for an industrial project in the UK. The role includes the installation, maintenance, and repair of stainless and carbon steel pipework, interpreting technical drawings, and conducting pressure tests. Candidates must demonstrate strong attention to detail, possess NVQ Level 3 in Pipefitting, and have CSCS certification. Competitive pay rates and accommodation are provided for the duration of the 3-month project.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a pipefitter in an industrial or construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of stainless and carbon steel pipework (1"-12").
• Ability to work from detailed technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and fabrication sketches.
• Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipe using hand and power tools.
• Install and secure pipe systems, supports, valves, and fittings.
• Conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests to ensure system integrity.
