Job summary

Anderselite is seeking a Skilled Operative / Dumper Driver / Slinger Signaller for a Derby-based project. The role is freelance/agency with 45 hours per week at £220 per day, immediate start and a long-term civil engineering assignment.

Responsibilities include drainage installation, excavation, concreting, and operating a Forward Tipping Dumper. You must hold a CSCS card and CPCS/NPORS Dumper and Slinger Signaller tickets, with prior civil works experience and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• CSCS card is mandatory.
• Dumper (Forward Tipping) and Slinger Signaller tickets required.
• Experience in civil engineering/groundworks is essential.

Responsibilities

• General civils and groundworks activities on site.
• Install drainage and undertake excavation/trenching works.
• Perform concreting, kerbing and paving as needed.
• Load and unload materials safely.
• Operate a Forward Tipping Dumper.
• Carry out Slinger/Signaller duties when required.
• Maintain a safe, tidy working environment.
• Attend site briefings and toolbox talks.
• Follow RAMS and health & safety procedures.

Rate: £220 per day

Start Date: 10th August 2026

Duration: Ongoing

Hours: 45 hours per week

• General civils and groundworks activities

• Following site RAMS and health & safety procedures

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS Card
• Valid CPCS/NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper ticket
• Valid CPCS/NPORS Slinger Signaller ticket
• Previous civil engineering and groundworks experience
• Strong understanding of site health and safety
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
