FM Conway Ltd. is seeking an experienced Skilled Operative to join the Structures Division on South London contracts. You will perform a range of construction and highways activities, supporting site teams to deliver work safely and to a high standard.
You’ll be trained to use equipment such as 360 excavators, with responsibilities including setting up areas, performing pre-use checks, and ensuring safety and quality in every task.

We're looking for an experienced and reliable Skilled Operative to join our growing Strategic Networks team within our Structures Division, working across our South London contracts.
You’ll be involved in a variety of construction and highways activities, working as part of a skilled site team to deliver works safely, efficiently and to a high standard. From concreting and kerbing to drainage, hard landscaping and pavement construction, you’ll have the opportunity to use your skills across a range of projects and environments.
No two days are the same. You’ll be working alongside experienced site teams, using a range of tools and equipment, supporting the delivery of works and helping to ensure every project is completed safely and to the required standard.
We're looking for someone with previous experience in a construction, highways or structures environment, who is confident carrying out a range of skilled construction activities.
You’ll have competence in at least one construction trade and ideally experience in areas such as pavement construction, kerbing, concreting, drainage or hard landscaping. You’ll hold a Level 2 NVQ qualification, a valid 360 Operator ticket and a CSCS card.
You’ll also have a good understanding of health and safety within a construction environment, alongside a medium/high-risk confined space qualification and a full UK driving licence.
