Job summary

The role requires a broad skill set in plumbing, carpentry, plastering and general maintenance, and a valid UK driving licence to drive company vehicles. The package includes generous annual leave and a defined career path within a not-for-profit organisation.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
• Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workloads.
• Ability to use computerised scheduling systems (including PDA). Driving a company vehicle requires a full UK licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties to assist site Operatives.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and stocks replenished.
• Provide accurate updates on job progress.
• Collect rubbish and dispose of waste in skips.
• Transport materials to/from the work area.
• Assist operatives with lifts and other tasks as required.
• Move larger materials as needed.
