Job summary

Greencore in Spalding is hiring a Skilled Logistics Operative for night shifts (18:00-06:00) on a permanent basis. The role involves warehouse tasks, stock checks, and safe operation of forklifts within a fast-paced production environment.

You will work as part of a small, dedicated team at the Spalding site, with opportunities for training and career progression within Greencore’s multinational operations.

Qualifications

• FLT licence (Counterbalance and Reach)
• Strong numeracy and literacy with documentation experience
• High attention to detail in fast-paced environment
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Good computer skills and familiarity with warehouse systems
• Flexible approach to shifts and hours

Responsibilities

• Assist with office administration and team coordination
• Support Health & Safety monitoring in the area
• Check and record incoming goods against delivery notes
• Provide samples for Quality Controllers during unloading
• Move pallets using an electric pallet truck/forklift
• Load and unload vehicles with electric pallet truck
• Prepare goods for transportation and despatch
• Receive, unload and check deliveries
• Replenish end-of-line and despatch areas
• Count stock and manage stock transfers/destruction
• Monitor despatch and loading areas for temperatures
• Maintain cleanliness and GMP standards
• Complete machinery start-up checks

We specialise in making hand crafted sandwich wraps, salads, dips, soups & sauces and mayonnaise.About the role.We manufacture a wide range of high-quality chilled products for our dedicated customers at our sites. Our production lines are non-stop, so you’ll be kept busy creating our products.
