Job summary

Blu Tech consulting seeks two experienced Skilled Labourers for a social housing project in Tonbridge, Kent. The client is Essex-based. A CSCS card and DBS check are essential; additional training (Working at heights, Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness) can be provided.

Duties include assisting a Multi-Trader, clearing gutters, preparing walls/woodwork for painting, basic painting, jet washing, loading/unloading tools, and other tasks. Permanent from the 13th week if all parties are happy.

Qualifications

• CSCS card and DBS are essential
• Working at heights, manual handling, and asbestos awareness training available

Responsibilities

• Assisting a Multi Trader with property defects

• Working on Ali towers
• Preparing walls, ceilings, and woodwork for painting
• Basic painting duties
• Jet washing
• Loading and unloading of tools and materials
• All other associated tasks as instructed

Job description

Our client an Essex based Social Housing Contractor currently seek x2 experienced Skilled Labourers for one of their projects in Tonbridge, Kent.

The work itself is occupied Social Housing upgrades.

It is essential that you hold a CSCS card, DBS, and would be a benefit if you held working at heights, Manual Handling, and Asbestos Awareness.

Although full training in this can be offered free of charge.

Duties will include:

• Assisting a Multi Trader with property defects.
• Clearing out gutters
• Woking off Ali towers
• Preparing walls, ceilings, and woodwork for painting
• Basic Painting duties
• Jet washing
• Loading and unloading of tools and materials
• All other associated tasks as instructed

This is a permanent position with an initial trial agency period of 8-12 weeks and if all parties are happy you will become permanent from the 13th week onwards.
