Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a reliable Skilled Labourer for a 3-4 week contract in Whitley Bay, North Tyneside. You will perform general building and exterior fitting tasks, including rainwater goods installation and canopy fitting.

Candidates should have proven site labour experience, able to work at height, own tools, and demonstrate a strong work ethic with attention to detail. CSCS card required; asbestos awareness and manual handling training desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in skilled site labor or general building work.
• Ability to work at height for canopy and rainwater installations.
• Own hand tools and cordless power tools preferred.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Installing rainwater goods (gutters, downpipes, hopper heads).
• Fitting flue baskets and GRP door/window canopies.
• Cable clipping and neat containment fixing.
• Assisting with general builder's tasks and site maintenance.

Job Title: Skilled Labourer

Duration: 3-4 Weeks

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: 19 CIs or 15.50 PAYE rolled up

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Skilled Labourer for a 3 to 4-week contract carrying out general building and exterior fitting works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing rainwater goods (gutters, downpipes, and hopper heads)
• Fitting flue baskets and GRP door/window canopies
• Cable clipping and neat containment fixing
• Assisting with general builder's tasks and site maintenance

Requirements:

• Proven experience in skilled site labor or general building work
• Ability to work comfortably at height for canopy and rainwater installations
• Own hand tools and cordless power tools strongly preferred
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
• Valid CSCS card
• Must be clean shaven
• Must be prepared to complete or have : Asbestos awareness, manual handling, working at heights
