Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is seeking a reliable Skilled Labourer for a 3–4 week contract in Whitley Bay, North Tyneside. The role involves carrying out general building and exterior fitting works on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in skilled site labor or general building work.
• Ability to work at heights for canopy and rainwater installations.
• Must hold a valid CSCS card and be prepared for site safety requirements.
• Must be clean shaven and comply with site rules and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install rainwater goods (gutters, downpipes and hopper heads).
• Fit flue baskets and GRP door/window canopies.
• Clip cables and fix neat containment for services.
• Assist with general building tasks and site maintenance.

Job Title: Skilled Labourer

Pay Rate: £19 CIs or £15.50 PAYE rolled up

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Skilled Labourer for a 3 to 4-week contract carrying out general building and exterior fitting works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing rainwater goods (gutters, downpipes, and hopper heads)
• Fitting flue baskets and GRP door/window canopies
• Cable clipping and neat containment fixing
• Assisting with general builder's tasks and site maintenance

Requirements:

• Proven experience in skilled site labor or general building work
• Ability to work comfortably at height for canopy and rainwater installations
• Own hand tools and cordless power tools strongly preferred
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
• Valid CSCS card
• Must be clean shaven
• Must be prepared to complete or have: Asbestos awareness, manual handling, working at heights
