Job description

Position: Skilled Groundworker/Ganger

Type: Permanent, full-time (47.5 hours)

Salary: Competitive salary plus good overtime rates

About the Role

As the Skilled Groundworker/Ganger, you will be responsible for delivering on-site projects to a high standard, ensuring safety and compliance by adhering to site-specific risk assessments. You will brief team members and visitors on identified risks.

If you have experience in installing deep drainage, manhole construction, concreting, block laying, kerbing, etc., then this could be the role for you!

Expect heavy lifting and physical work, so a willingness to get stuck in is essential.

You will report to the Supervisor and be directly responsible for the Operatives and visitor safety on site.

Experience and Qualifications

• CSCS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Extensive experience in Deep Drainage, Civils, or Groundworks
• Proven experience in a lead role
• 360 or Dumper Ticket (NPORS)
• SSSTS (Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme)
• EUSR SHEA (Water - multi-utility as required)
• SWQR Operative Certificate, Units 001-007 & 009
• Emergency First Aid at Work Level 2 (minimum)
