Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Wolverhampton is seeking an inspector for Machined heat Exchangers and calibrated equipment in Machining. You will read engineering drawings, operate CMM, perform visual inspection, and raise quality non-conformances.

Role requires flexibility to work AM/PM/Nights shifts, use SAP and Solumina, and adherence to EH&S policies. Training and development opportunities are provided within RTX’s Power & Controls Division.

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering apprenticeship (City & Guilds level 2/3 or equivalent).
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Flexible and adaptable to work shifts when required.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
• Excellent team player and confident communicator.
• Compliance with Company Health & Safety policies.
• ME 1200 eye site requirements compliance.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspection of Machined heat Exchangers and all calibrated equipment in Machining.

Responsibilities:

Read Engineering Drawings Operation of CMM Carry Out Other Duties as required Visual Inspection Use of SAP and solumina for booking parts to stock Raising of Quality Non-Conformances EH&S The right applicant will be trained in all the necessary disciplines of all matrix manufacturing operations including heat transfer matrix build and EH&S The applicant must be prepared to work shifts (AM/PM/Nights) when required.

Required Security Clearance
