Job summary

Arriva London is seeking a Skilled Engineer to maintain and repair a fleet of buses to high safety and quality standards. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs, ensuring DVSA compliance and readiness for MOTs.

You will contribute to reliability improvements, participate in preventative maintenance campaigns, and receive on-the-job training including EV technologies and diagnostics, with flexible shift options to suit your lifestyle.

Qualifications

• PSV/HGV or light vehicle maintenance and repair qualification (NVQ Level 2+ or equivalent) or 5+ years hands-on experience.
• Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
• PCV license preferred or willingness to obtain one.
• Medical fitness: pass a PCV pre-employment medical.
• Commitment to delivering safe, reliable, high-quality maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on a fleet of buses.
• Ensure servicing, inspections, and repairs meet Arriva and DVSA standards.
