Job summary

Arriva UK Bus is seeking a Skilled Engineer for the Grays Garage to maintain and repair a fleet of London buses. The role involves servicing, inspections, fault diagnosis, and ensuring DVSA and Arriva standards are met.

You will participate in MOT prep, preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks, with various shift patterns. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent preferred; strong PSV/HGV experience required; full UK driving licence expected.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent required.
• If unqualified, at least 5 years’ PSV/HGV/Light vehicle repair experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, inspection and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on a fleet of London buses.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT; support preventative maintenance campaigns.
• Ensure reliability and maintenance meet Arriva standards; contribute to quality checks.
