Job summary

Dunbia in Llanybydder is seeking skilled and semi-skilled Abattoir Operatives to join our team, delivering humane slaughtering and processing of lamb and beef in line with industry standards.

You will work as part of a dedicated crew, maintain high hygiene and safety standards, and support efficient production while following strict procedures in a regulated environment. Immediate start and weekly pay on offer.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a red meat abattoir for lamb and beef.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Commitment to animal welfare and ethical practices.
• CoC essential for Skilled Operative role.

Responsibilities

• Process lamb and cattle in line with health, safety and animal welfare standards.
• Skinning and evisceration of carcasses to high standards.
• Operate machinery and equipment to prepare carcasses for processing.
• Maximise yields while minimising contamination and waste.
• Work to production targets while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Adhere to SOPs and maintain high standards.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
