Job summary

Sizewell C Company is seeking a Temporary Works Coordinator to oversee all aspects of temporary works design and construction for the Sizewell C project. The role requires coordination with the client team, the Temporary Works Designer and Project Lead to ensure safety, compliance and timely approvals.

You'll work on offshore-style schemes, follow the design brief, manage design changes and ensure drawings issued for construction.

Qualifications

• Experience relevant to temporary works on complex projects, preferably offshore.
• Attended a Balfour Beatty TWC training course or equivalent within the last 2 years.
• Knowledge of Temporary Works procedures and industry codes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with all parties involved in the design and construction of temporary works.
• Liaise with client team to determine approvals and certification requirements.
• Work with the Temporary Works team to ensure procedures are understood and followed.
• Compile and update a Temporary Works Schedule and review with the TWS Designer and Project Lead.
• Ensure adequate Temporary Works design for all schemes and that designs are issued for construction.
• Discuss changes with the TWD and manage the design change process.
• Ensure Temporary Works Design Check Confirmation/Approval forms are issued.
• Inspect temporary works prior to loading/unloading and maintain hold points for inspections.
• Ensure erected temporary works are maintained and learn from experience.
