Job summary

Civil Works Alliance (CWA) is seeking a Temporary Works Coordinator to support Sizewell C. You will coordinate with design and construction teams on temporary works, ensure offshore and on-site safety, and manage design checks and approvals.

The role requires offshore experience, attendance at a TWC training course (Balfour Beatty or approved provider), and ongoing learning within the Marine and Tunnels Section. You will report to the Project Lead, focusing on timely, compliant temporary works.

Qualifications

• Offshore experience preferred.
• Must have attended a TWC training course (Balfour Beatty or approved external provider).
• Desirable formal qualifications (HNC or Degree).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with all parties involved in the design and construction of temporary works.
• Liaise with client team to determine any public, nuclear safety or other impact and required approvals.
• Work with the client's Temporary Works team to ensure procedures are understood and followed.
• Compile/update Temporary Works Schedule and review with TWD and Project Lead.
• Ensure adequate Temporary Works design is carried out for all schemes.
• Supervise and assess competence of the TWS with the Project Lead.
• Prepare/review design briefs for adequacy and inclusion of relevant codes (offshore).
• Ensure timely design, checking and construction in the programme.
• Ensure designs are issued to construction team and other parties; construction from drawings 'for construction'.
• Maintain construction method statements incorporating permanent and temporary works requirements.
