Job summary

Harrogate Grammar School is seeking a proactive Student Support Manager to support Sixth Form students in Years 12 and 13. You will collaborate with the Director of Sixth Form, Form Tutors and Faculty Leaders to deliver pastoral, academic and progression guidance, monitoring progress and wellbeing to foster a culture of high expectations.

You will also advise on university options, UCAS, apprenticeships and other progression routes, helping students thrive and prepare confidently for their next

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people and supporting their achievement.
• Ability to lead, motivate and build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Good understanding of Post-16 progression routes and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor students' progress, attendance and wellbeing.
• Provide leadership and support to the Tutor Team.
• Support students beyond Sixth Form with guidance on university, UCAS, apprenticeships and other progression pathways.
