Job summary

All Saints Catholic Secondary School in York is seeking a confident Pastoral Manager to provide practical and strategic support for the pastoral development of sixth form students. You will work with individuals and small groups to support learning and wellbeing, within a Diocese-aligned Catholic environment.

The role requires experience in secondary education, excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, confidential approach, with safeguarding at its core.

Qualifications

• Experience in secondary schools with students who have social, emotional and/ or behavioural difficulties essential
• Experience in multi-disciplinary teams essential
• Experience of planned intervention programmes for students with emotional and behavioural needs essential

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral support for sixth form learners' learning and wellbeing.
• Work in small groups or 1:1 to support students.
• Collaborate with staff to implement targeted intervention programmes.
